RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol) is a signaling application protocol used to manage multimedia data in real time. One of the most popular ways to use RTSP today is video surveillance systems. Camera data is stored on a specific server, and RTSP allows you to play them online or transfer previously recorded data to the desired devices.
RTSP is similar to HTTP in most functions, but in a more advanced form. Using the protocol, you can control the connection status and transfer data outside the parameters of the main stream. With RTSP, requests are generated from both the server and the client side.
