How is a private cloud different from a public cloud?
In a public cloud, all clients are hosted on shared hardware. In a private cloud, each client is allocated a cluster of servers, including N+1 redundancy, datastores, vCenter and optionally other infrastructure components. This is the most customizable solution, in which you can implement any needs of the client.
What are the options for deploying a private cloud?
There are several types of private cloud implementation: -private cloud with dedicated physical servers and management via VMware Cloud Director - the minimum implementation option and the most frequently used by customers; -private cloud with dedicated VMware vCenter Server - the option is similar to the previous one, but the client is given access to the dedicated vCenter Server if it is required, for example, by the security service; -private cloud with dedicated physical storage - a cloud with an additional dedicated element, in this case - a storage system; -full cloud with dedicated physical storage - a cloud with an additional dedicated element. All components, including switches and routers, are dedicated to a specific client.
